About Kim Anderson

With more than 30 years of experience as a teacher, evaluator, capacity builder, researcher, and leader, Kim Anderson, Ph.D., builds strong relationships with state education leaders to identify needs, plan solutions, develop high-quality resources, deliver high-impact services, and use data to drive continuous improvement. Prior to joining Westat, Kim was the executive director of the National Center for Homeless Education at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. At Southern Regional Education Board and the Regional Education Laboratory Southeast, she supported leaders in state executive and legislative branches and state agencies in using research, evaluation, policy analysis, and strategic planning to strengthen state education and workforce systems.
