John White serves as the Region 5 Comprehensive Center (R5CC) subject matter expert for communications. In this role, John provides technical assistance and capacity-building services to state education agencies (SEAs). He also communicates and disseminates information and resources while increasing awareness of the R5CC team’s work across the region. Projects have included communications audits to provide an objective and comprehensive review of communications related to specific programs, providing actionable feedback and practical steps for improvement. He also provides writing, social media, and media relations services. Based in Maryland, John has served in communications and leadership roles for local, state, and federal education agencies.
