Center Ideas: Building Sustainable Funding for Teacher Residency Programs

Region 5 Comprehensive Center members Matthew Finster and Mark Fermanich contend that for teacher residency programs (TRPs) to fulfill their promise of attracting high-quality candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences while providing them with intensive preparation, they need to be organized and funded to offer living stipends.
